Sunday Favorites :: November

november reflection on the lake

Welcome to November! An extra hour, a new month, new goals…all rolled into one. I’m going got be honest and say that this is a tough one for me. My daughter’s birthday is fast approaching and I am dealing with so many emotions about what that means to me. And while some use their birthday’s, or the start of a school year, or January 1st to mark their “new year”, I find that I am anxiously awaiting to mark my new year once we reach a whole year without her. It surely is a complicated set of feelings that I struggle to put into words or pictures even, as I look back at my attempt at doing so on this space for the past 8 months.

In honor of all that this next month will bring, I wanted to share some of my favorite organizations that truly have an impact on my corner of the world and give back to others. I need to close out this month knowing that no matter how small of a contribution to the world I am making, I have a voice to help others, to give back, to honor, to thank. And soon enough, I will have an organization to honor my daughter and all children.

I hope your November starts strong and with love and joy. Thank you for reading!

Do you know of an organization that should be added to the list? Please comment below!

xoxo, Jessica

    http://Www.toms.com now sells bags and purses. And for each of those purchases a “safe birth kit” is given to a mother in a remote area which usually doesn’t have excess to modern medicine to help both baby and mom have a safe and healthy birth.
