The Event // Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Happy Monday! Just in case you didn’t know yet, Nordstrom is having their biggest sale of the year right now. Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is that time of year when you get yourself and the kids fall-ready at significantly reduced price points before they go back up for the regular season! As a Nordstrom debit/credit card holder, you can be the first to shop the anniversary sale picks, which started July 14th, before the masses begin to shop on July 22nd. I wasted no time taking a moment to shop the sale, particularly because of a few pieces I had my eye on since their anniversary sale picks went live online.

I fell in love with this leather jacket from BlankNYC because it is the perfect mix between a cardigan and a jacket.  I love how soft the leather feels and that it can be worn casually or a bit more dressed up, like I did here. Of course, it’s way too warm to be wearing leather at this time of year, but I definitely can’t wait to wear it come Fall, especially in green.

One of my favorite colors for Fall is olive green, and this sleeveless cowl neck dress is perfect for summer too! I look forward to wearing it on our annual trip to Cape Cod soon! These shades from Kate Spade (56mm lens) fit my face perfectly, which is saying a lot since I always have a difficult time finding a proper size of shades for my small face.

I fell in love with the simplicity of this gold Speck iPhone case. It is pretty and still the strongest protective case I’ve ever owned. The four corners of the case are rubberized to protect the most sensitive part of my phone. For as much as I let my son use my phone (and dropped several times myself), that’s a major plus!
